DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH IS OFFICIALLY PREMEIRING AT THE PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES FEBRUARY 15TH 10:45PM AT THE MAGIC JOHNSON THEATER. THERE WILL ALSO BE A OPEN GALLERY RECEPTION FROM 8PM-10:30PM BEFORE THE SCREENING. PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN US FOR THIS AMAZING EVENING OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM.  And for all you love birds out there...there is a special screening on Valentines Day at 3:50pm.

We are also throwing a International Hip Hop show at On the Roxs (above the Roxy) on Sunset Feb. 8th. COME THROUGH AND CHECK OUT SOME OF THE WORLD'S UP AND COMING HIP HOP ARTISTS!

SubNet is in the building...or should I say on the Net. if you didn't know we are a new online Non-Exclusive Record Label, that is representing underground artists from all round the world that are trying to make a difference in this life. The site’s features include downloadable tracks and music videos from the artists, artist TV shows, radio stations, blogs and free promotional downloads from featured artists and Dee-Jays. We are still working on everything but the site is 80% done and is really shaping into something cool. (Big Ups to our Web Master Chris for making our online world possible) This is our not so official launch so THANK YOU FOR STOPING BY!! check out the new videos Starvation and Black Poetry by Okai directed by yours truly 3rdi. 3rdi POWER TO THE PEACEFUL This past weekend the Subterranean Network crew and the Bavubuka Foundation went to San Fran to Join 70,000 concsious thinkers, revolutionaries, social activists, burning man collective and all the others to support Michael Franti's free show in Golden Gate Park to promote Power to the Peaceful. it was an amazing weekend to say the least...Bataka Squad joined Franti on stage for a remix version of "Hello Bonjour". Bataka rocked the 70,000+ crowd with their native Luga Flow to cheers and screams. it was Awesome!!! I'm so proud of those guys...they have come along way. We also set up our first Bavubuka Foundation info/donation booth. We got to mingle with a lot of cool socially concsious like minded people and spread some awareness for the Community Center and Hip Hop Festival we are trying to make a reality in Uganda. Peace and blessing to everyone that was interested enough to come talk to us about our cause. VERY SPECIAL SHOT-OUT AND THANK YOU TO the whole Guerrilla Management crew (Anita, Catherine, Carla, Jill) for hooking us up with a kick ass day and just being the coolest women ever, Forrest,Cary, Becky, Janet, Rachael and Ace for coming out with us and helping out and supporting, The whole Bavubuka Team (Lara, Myra, Toby,Silas, Alex, Brett) for making it all happen and of course Michael Franti for being a Man that WALKS THE WALK AND TALKS THE TALK!!! It was great chance for us to perform and build with some amazing like minded artists from around the world.Big ups to Zulu Boy and his band for rocking with Rah-P and making the week unbelievable- special shot out to Paco for all the Zulu Stories, Big UPs to Pan Africans for holding us down with the studio time and the Jah vibes, the cape Verde crew Revolted and Vierira for coming through on the "The World"track and the whole Music Mayday team for making it all possible!!!
